Woke up slightly later this morning because I forgot that I moved my alarm ahead yesterday morning. Was able to get up before 5:30 and get working out about 5 minutes later. Took it easy on the treadmill, but had no back issues. Push-ups were great, but burpees were a no go.
Back feels great now. It only seems to be when I try and bend or lift - which makes perfect sense.
Forgot to weigh in, most likely because I was running a little late.
I swear, going to bed early is making all the difference for me. I don’t know why I haven’t tried it before!

3 x 3 min rope swing
3 x 10 Romanian bag curl
3 x 6 way BB complex

INJURY! Destroyed my back yesterday after doing a relatively light deadlift. Either my form is terrible or I’m over using my back. Either way I’m experiencing lots of discomfort. It was a pinched nerve I think because when I twisted to grab the dumbbells after the deadlift, I felt a sharp pain and knew right away that I was in trouble.
Went to bed at 8:30 (same time as Charlotte) hoping that the rest would help. It did somewhat. I still feel pain, but had to sleep through my 5:20 wake up because I think all I can do is run. I’m hoping a day’s rest will help.
Important to note that I did this drug free. I took one tylenol but had no noticeable benefits. I’m thinking some Advil will help.

Cottage time! Saturday night was wild. I went to bed a midnight and slept poorly. Consuming alcohol for hours probably didn’t help either.
Woke-up feeling groggy, but fought through it and forced myself out for a ski. The weather was great 3 degrees and sunny.
12 k classic style. Many hills!
1.5 hours of decent hockey.

Earlier than normal workout due to a trip to the cottage. Felt pretty good, I’m still feeling energized during my runs.
