Sickness! I’ve been coughing up lots of phlegm and had a rough night’s sleep. I managed to get a workout in, even though it wasn’t full pace. I figure that getting the blood pumping will help heal me up quicker. It’s going to be a long haul until Xmas especially with the weekend plans and a couple late nights with interviews.
I’ve become very interested in longevity and lifestyle choices lately. It’s interesting to read and listen about how much diet influences your choices. Not that I want to live forever, but having youthful energy is something that I’m interested in. Especially since I’ve been getting fatigued lately during the days.
My shoulder has been bugging me lately too I can’t really tell if it’s getting better or worse. Perhaps some investment in physio might help.
Workout
22 min run (~7.0 pace)
3 x 500 row
3 x deadlift
3 x landmine press
3 x medicine ball clean
3 x 10 pull-ups

Wow, it’s been a while! Having Charlotte here in the mornings makes it much more difficult to get some blogging and journaling done. I’m back though, even if it’s a little shorter than normal.
Having crumby sleep has led me back here. I’m really glad that I had documented some of my feelings over the year. It really helped show me that perhaps I have a sleeping problem. Workouts have been great even though I’ve reduced the amount of T in my system. Since my last post, I’ve begun focusing on lifting heavier weights. It’s been beneficial, I’ve noticed some positive body composition changes. I plan on continuing this until the spring.
One thing I learned: Metformin can possibly be an anti-aging drug by increasing insulin sensitivity.
Workout:
22 min run
3 x 500 row
3 x 25 x 50lb kettlebell swings
3 x 10 Romanian heavy bag front squat
3 x 10 dumbbell clean and press
