Good workout this morning. Lost a bit of focus nearing the end, but managed to get through it. Just got back from the doctor and apparently my throat has redness which would cause the blood. Makes sense - I lost my voice first and then had this raw blood filled phlegm. I need to keep an eye on it. If it gets worse, I’ll have to go back to see her.
My blood test results are also pouring in. Interesting to note, that the later I go in the day, the more ‘inline’ they are with the norm. It seems like working out plays a big role in how my body uses hormones. I’m especially interested in the ALT levels which seem to have fallen to be perfectly normal. I’m assuming that the IF is playing a role here as well as no more tylenol and a reduction of alcohol.
One thing I learned: The podcast with that islam guy was boring and awkward as Sam mentioned. It’s interesting to know that people cannot speak out against Islam with out automatically being called a racist. Also, being a law student in your 20s is no measure of a successful person. The kid sounds extremely arrogant and doesn’t seem to be a remarkable speaker.
One piece of motivation: Getting up and getting after it is extremely necessary in the mornings. I’m about to walk into a long haul of needing to get up to workout. It will be interesting to see how I perform at the race given the fact that I’m up so early. The theory is that I should do better. Assuming this whole sickness thing magically disappears.
Three ideas: The store idea is really remarkable for motivation with the younger students. They really take on this role of conserving money. I need to address this in my book, whenever I get back to it.
Workout:
22 min run
3 x 500 row
3 x 10 heavy bag lifts, squats and punches
3 x 10 DB clean and press
3 x 30 double unders
3 x 20 (max) medicine ball push-ups
