May 24! Time is flying. These weeks just melt by. The weekend went fast as well considering I had 4 days off. My diet really went to hell and a hand basket over the weekend. Didn’t really consume too many sweets, but beer took over. If there was a way just to hypnotize me and have me stop drinking, I would totally make it happen. Oh well, today is the day I start my phase 2 and I need to slow down on the boozing if it’s going to have any impact.
One thing I learned: Technology isn’t a replacement for work in the classroom. The SAMR model accurately predicts the future use of technology, but it’s still important to recognize the cost of having a tech rich classroom.
One piece of motivation: Pushing through even when your body doesn’t want to is an important aspect of physical activity. The mental side of working out can be just as important in the long term.
Three ideas: I need to investigate the possibility of perhaps going vegan or vegetarian. The problem is and has always been - calories and protein. How is it possible to get the amount of protein If I cut out carbs?
