Another decent workout. This is great. I feel so good sitting here writing this post knowing that I have completed my workout and can get on with my day. The big disadvantage is the getting to sleep early. I’m thinking that once the summer hits I’ll be able to retire later and get up early still because I’ll little more rested!

One thing I learned: I really need to focus on teaching. I’m getting distracted by these small issues and blowing them up into big ones. Just teach kids about science and let the small things slide. Enjoy the process and remember to take some deep breathes when a situation occurs. 

One piece of motivation: Burn the boats! Sometimes giving yourself not escape forces you to do things outside your comfort zone. This is good. The next time something comes up that you don’t want to do, just think about burning those boats.

Three ideas: Take cold showers. It seems to be a good thing for the body and makes the mind fresh and alert. Alternating hot/cold seems to provide the best result. 

Workout: 

22 min run
3 x 500 row
3 x 20 KB deadlifts
3 x 20 KB Swings, alternating arms
3 x 10 Romanian bag front squats
3 x hardcore rope swings
