Sleeep…it’s going away slowly. After Thursday night’s late night and last nights multiple wake-up and early rise, I’m slowly grinding away my banked sleep. Hopefully it’s just a short term problem that could be alleviated as early as tonight.
I’m going to reduce my caloric intake today because I ate WAY too much sugar yesterday. Hopefully I can make it until dinner and maybe have some carbs like pizza. I remember that swimming starts soon so I’ll need to get my beach body ready sooner than later!
One thing I learned: Work with your impulse. Some weird science says that if you don’t act with in 5 seconds of an idea, you’ll never act on it. Think: Seeing someone interesting at a party. If you don’t talk to them ASAP, it likely won’t happen. I have some sort of belief of this from my own personal life. I’ll keep it in the back of my mind and act on it if I can!
One piece of motivation: Find more time in your day. It may be in there morning, it may be on lunch, but consciously make time to finish the art in your life that needs to be done.
Three ideas: I keep coming back to this speaker idea. I really think that leveraging my ability to teach, my business degree and experience can benefit some organizations or institutions.
