Woah, super stressed this morning! Late night yesterday, plus a frustrating hospital experience has cranked up the stress in my life. I feel really bad for Melissa but know that I can’t be much help other than letting her have a break. My only way to calm him down is to walk with him and that doesn’t seem to be an option.
I’m torn between telling Melissa the truth - that I don’t and can’t really help out - and sucking it up and doing it. I feel like the latter is the best answer, but boy it would be a tough go. Hopefully this all comes to an end today. I see no reason not to send him home, especially if they’re just giving him ventolin and tylenol. Anyway, this is TMI for a blog post, but just goes to show you my stress level.
I’m really going after this iAuthor thing. Maybe I’ll make like a kids book or even a short story as a start. The really good stuff is obviously with training and goal setting, etc.
One thing I learned yesterday: Territory and art. When you bang away at something long enough, it becomes yours. Keep doing it and you’ll own it. It’s your territory. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the gym, Tiger Woods and the golf course.
One piece of motivation: I’m fine. It’s this saying that will destroy you. It’s an easy cop out to do most things. How are you feeling. Fine is not a relevant answer. At minimum, you are simply a miracle and every moment of every day should be AMAZING!
Three things: iAuthor for a book. Blog posts about education (i’m fine). Dying art of communication.
