Last day of March! It’s gone fast, but I guess that happens when you get two full weeks off. I was really off last night - muscle aches, chills and massive loose stools. I slept ok and even work up without being fully exhausted. I took it easy with the workout and I’m glad that I did. I’ll take tomorrow off an be ready for some fun next week!
It’s also clear that I cannot stomach the flax muffins anymore or really anything with fake sugar. If I’m going to hack this diet, I’ll need to cut the fake sugar out completely. In the long run it’s probably a great idea.
One thing I learned: Instead of leaping to a plunge with making art, try splashing around in the water or taking little jumps. Nobody needs to write the mega book to make good art. Just make a small one and keep building on it.
One piece of motivation: Making yourself regularly uncomfortable builds character and grit. Putting yourself in a position of difficulty is the key to personal growth. There is no better example than getting up early in the morning to workout out. It’s hard, painful and long-term. Worth it though.
Three ideas: If this whole 3rd child thing is a bust then I’m definitely going to look into my idea of moving on with the science centre idea. Perhaps it can be started small - I don’t know.
Workout:
25 min run 7.25 mph tempo
2 x 500 row
5 min heavy bag work
2 x 20 50b kettle bell deadlift
2 x 10 kettle bell swing
2 x 10 medicine ball push-ups
