It’s the start of the hardcore 3 week get in shape for Vancouver training program. I’m going to continue the intermittent fasting and low carb (for as much as possible). I’ll work on keeping the weights heavy and intense as that seems to work best. The most difficult thing is to keep on track with the food and especially the alcohol. I’ll limit myself to drink Thursday, Friday and Saturday this weekend to see how it goes.

Perhaps I need some external motivation in the form of a gift. Weights? Clothes? A bike?

A small gift for 3 weeks of hard work and 1 month of not drinking maybe a bike?

I will investigate this further.

One thing I learned: We need to perform without a map. That’s what makes me successful in my job. Trying new things - this might work, or it might not - the idea that fear is placed aside to try new and interesting things is important.

One piece of motivation: LEGO was saved because it was given kits to build. Now the reverse is true, this idea of a master builder - we need to teach this back to kids!

Three ideas: Build the website to con inside with he launch of the book. I need to re-brand myself with my name..somehow. Maybe not though.

Workout:
22 min run
3 x 500 row
3 x 10 deadlift
3 x Hungarian bag front squat
3 x 10 kettle bell swing
2 min rope swing - intense immediately after.
