Monday morning of death. I had a terrible sleep last night. I was up most of the short night (because of hockey) with stomach pains. The pains seem to have subsided, but I’m definitely feeling groggy and a little dishevelled. I need to try and get to bed very early tonight to catch up on some sleep and recuperate.
I’ve been reading about long term usage of melatonin. I’m going to stop my current regime cold turkey and see how it goes. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t have a ton of research around whether it helps you stay asleep and from antidotal evidence, it could even make you wake up to pee. I’ll see how the rest of the month goes and reevaluate in the new year. I definitely don’t have trouble falling asleep and now with the CPAP it could be a factor in the quality of sleep I’m getting.
The workout this morning was garbage. No strength, stomach bothering me and very tired. I made a go which is half the battle and should be able to recover for the rest of the week.
i’m going to look more into the fasting mimicking diet today and get on that regiment in the new year. I definitely feel much better when I eat healthy and control my calories. What’s happening now is out of control!
I tried, but failed.
A bit of bench press, clean and press, pull ups. Will repeat tomorrow!
