It’s the last week of school and I feel like crap! Goodness, it’s a never ending process. I feel like my recovery rate from sickness is now so poor that I’ll never be healed. I’ve been coughing up dark phlegm and been off kilter all morning. I wonder what my body temperature is?
I did some learning about chest colds and running this morning. Seems like it’s imperative that you rest during a chest cold because it affects the sympathetic nervous system and can make things worse over the long term. I wonder if this is what happened to me in the summer?
I’ve scheduled a deload week this week and perhaps it might be a good idea to follow it through just to see what happens. If I can take some time off and recover than when I get back at it, I’ll be in way better shape than trying to gut through it sick for twice as long.
I plan on getting up tomorrow morning and perhaps just going easy. I think the secret is to not push it too much. A day at a time!
