Monday morning of death. I had a terrible sleep last night. I was up most of the short night (because of hockey) with stomach pains. The pains seem to have subsided, but I’m definitely feeling groggy and a little dishevelled. I need to try and get to bed very early tonight to catch up on some sleep and recuperate.
I’ve been reading about long term usage of melatonin. I’m going to stop my current regime cold turkey and see how it goes. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t have a ton of research around whether it helps you stay asleep and from antidotal evidence, it could even make you wake up to pee. I’ll see how the rest of the month goes and reevaluate in the new year. I definitely don’t have trouble falling asleep and now with the CPAP it could be a factor in the quality of sleep I’m getting.
The workout this morning was garbage. No strength, stomach bothering me and very tired. I made a go which is half the battle and should be able to recover for the rest of the week.
i’m going to look more into the fasting mimicking diet today and get on that regiment in the new year. I definitely feel much better when I eat healthy and control my calories. What’s happening now is out of control!

A bit of bench press, clean and press, pull ups. Will repeat tomorrow!

December is here! Bring on the Xmas cheer. 2 full weeks of school (including a xmas concert) to go and I’ll be in the home stretch. I slept terribly last night. It was weird because I had some wine and certainly didn’t feel drunk, but it definitely affected the sleep. I feel far more groggy than I should given the fact that I was in bed for 9 hours. As always, it will be the this afternoon that makes the difference.
The weekend is here and it’s nice because I don’t have much on the go and should be able to get some decent rest. I need to get the Xmas decorations up, but that won’t take much in the way of effort. However, the garage is a mess and I have no idea where the lights are.
Today I need to update my site with some more videos on the motivation and education page. Also, I need to create a better header for my YouTube channel.

Not feeling 100% taking today off.
